How to translate the DBF Commander Professional

To translate the DBF Commander Professional user interface in your language, just send us an e-mail to support@elphsoft.com. You will receive the detailed explanation of the translation process. After you'll have finish the translation and send it to us, it'll be added to the application's user interface. You'll see your language at the next release, which will be ABSOLUTELY FREE for you.

In order to translate DBF Commander Professional into your language, please follow the steps below:

1. Download SIL Editor from http://www.sicomponents.com/download.html and install it
2. Launch SIL Editor and open the *.SIB file you've received by e-mail (DBFCommanderPro.sib)
3. Select any form in the form's tree (left side of SIL Editor)
4. Select in menu Tools -> Add Language
5. Type your language name and click OK
6. Go to SIL Editor's menu Tools -> Default Fonts and check if your language is listed there. In case it is not, please do the following:
6.1. In the Language field type the exact name of your language
6.2. In the Font Name field select the font that supports your language characters
6.3. In the Charset field select the Charset value that supports your characters
6.4. Click Add and close the Dialog by clicking OK button
7. Walking through the left-side tree items translate all terms appeared in translations grid (right-side of SIL Editor) into your language
Note: Please don't modify values for other languages and don't translate items that have only English value but no any translations!
8. Click Save on toolbar to save the file
9. Send us your version of the SIB file have been translated
10. After the file verification, you'll receive your registration info by e-mail
11. Your language will be added to the DBF Commander Professional user interface in the next release
