Option to include/exclude deleted records during edxport

Postby mkadmin » Thu Feb 23, 2017 10:20 pm

After the very useful addition of selecting deleted records from the command line, I think it would be very excellent if you added a similar option to the export to server procedure (through gui and the command line). If you aggree with this, it would be great to see this future in the next update.
Thanks a lot

How do you select deleted records from the command line? That doesn't seem to be in the Command Line doc...

Hi Oleg,
Any chance to add an option for selecting deleted records on the "Export to Server" procedure (command line, mainly, and GUI) in the near future.
Sorry, I am not trying to push, but I just want to know if I'll need to redesign my code for that.

Thanks a lot

Hello Mike!
The feature has been already implemented in the last version. In the batch mode, use -od parameter to omit deleted records.

I was checking with various other options, like -odr etc., as it is not refered in the command line help section.

Thank's a lot

Hi, I have just tried to use -od in this way but deleted records were still imported. Am I missing something?

"C:\Program Files (x86)\DBFCommander\DBFCommander.exe" -edb "Z:\Temp\Import\" -create "Provider=SQLNCLI11;Server=MyServer;Database=MyDB;Trusted_Connection=yes;" -sb -mssql -od

I am away from this machine right now but before running this I did "Check for updates" and it said I was on the latest version. The .exe was dated from May this year.

MansfieldMatt, I've just checked your command line, and it works fine. Deleted rows are not imported into the destination table.
