Question About SQL Queries

Postby aaronmajor » Mon Apr 04, 2011 6:30 pm

I am evaluating the program and have a quick question about the SQL query feature. I'm not sure if I am just not able to perform this function in the trial version or if I am doing it wrong. Nevertheless, I am trying a simple update statement and getting an error. Can you please look at the statement below and tell me what is wrong?

SQL
update POSITEM set desc = 'Test' where desc = 'Gas'

ERROR
Command is missing required clause.

aaronmajor, thanks for you question!

Yes, there is a bug in SQL text parsing for UPDATE clause. This will be fixed ASAP, in couple of days.
Feel free to ask a question - I'll try to help in anyway!

Thank you. I will download the new version sometime this afternoon or in the morning and get my boss to purchase the software. It will really come in handy for one of the products that I am working on.
