Error in Exporting dbf to excel.

Postby gilljae » Wed Aug 03, 2011 9:18 am

Hi, there.

I am interesting in DBF commander Pro to convert foxpro dbf file to excel.
I am using DBF commander pro trial version now.

I found an error to export foxpro dbf to excel.

When I use DBF commander pro, I found a field defined charater in foxpro which has a value "011" is converted 11 (without "0").

How can I export dbf file to excel without missing "0" value which is defined character in foxpro?

Thank you for support in advance.

Hi gilljae, thanks for your question!

This issue is already in the TODO list, so it'll be fixed in the next release.
For now, there is a workaround for you:
1. Convert DBF file to dBase III type (File -> Structure -> File Type, choose dBase III Plus)
2. Now you can open the DBF file directly with Excel (file's context menu -> Open with -> MS Excel)
Feel free to ask a question - I'll try to help in anyway!
